We are looking for a SAP Master Data Consultant to join us for a remote project in Portugal.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and update Master Data records in SAP (Materials, Customers, Vendors, BOMs, Routings, etc.).
2. Ensure data integrity and consistency across the system and aligned systems.
3. Validate and enrich master data based on requests from business users.
4. Apply data quality rules and governance processes in line with pharma industry standards (e.G., GMP, GxP).
5. Investigate and resolve data-related issues within operational processes.
6. Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate and timely master data reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. 5+ years of experience working with SAP Master Data in operational contexts (not project-based migration).
2. Solid knowledge of Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, and related objects.
3. Experience in pharma or life sciences industry is highly desirable.
4. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.G., GxP, SOP-driven environments).
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and interface with cross-functional teams.
7. Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have:
1. Experience with tools such as SAP MDG, Winshuttle, or equivalent.
2. Understanding of integration with external systems (e.G., LIMS, PLM).
3. Prior experience in a regulated SAP environment (e.G., validated systems, audit readiness).
