With our expansion into the Lisbon office, we are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team. You will play a key role in guiding and facilitating our agile development processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products in a collaborative and efficient manner.
Role Overview:
The Scrum Master will work closely with our development teams and product owners to implement and manage agile processes and practices. The ideal candidate has a passion for agile methodologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role will be crucial in ensuring our teams remain productive, aligned, and focused on delivering value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a servant leader and coach for multiple agile development teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
* Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring efficient use of time and collaboration.
* Support product owners in backlog management, ensuring that user stories and tasks are well-defined and prioritized.
* Remove obstacles and resolve conflicts to help teams meet their sprint goals and deadlines.
* Monitor team performance metrics and work with teams to optimize their processes for maximum efficiency.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, fostering an environment of collaboration, learning, and transparency.
* Coach and mentor team members on agile principles, practices, and roles, encouraging self-organization and accountability.
* Ensure clear communication within the team and across stakeholders, including providing updates on progress, risks, and challenges.
* Work closely with other Scrum Masters and leaders within the organization to share best practices and improve overall agility.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience (3+ years) as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
* Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile methodologies.
* Experience working in SaaS or cloud-based software development environments is a plus.
* Excellent facilitation, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on removing impediments and enabling high performance.
* Experience with agile project management tool Jira.
* Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent is required.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related fields is preferred.
