Studio Ellipsis is seeking a cross-disciplinary Brand Manager to help shape and scale the worlds we create. This role is strategic, creative, and executional, focusing on how great IPs resonate across formats.
You'll work at the intersection of world-building, narrative, brand strategy, and transmedia execution. From comics and digital collectibles to podcasts, games, and physical products, you'll ensure each connects seamlessly and the brand maintains a consistent voice across all platforms.
What You'll Do:
* Develop and execute brand strategies for original IPs across various media and formats.
* Manage the brand lifecycle from pitch to launch and live operations.
* Coordinate with external creators, agencies, and partners to produce content aligned with brand goals.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a unified brand identity.
* Create marketing campaigns to increase awareness and engagement.
* Design go-to-market strategies that integrate storytelling with product releases.
* Conduct brand health checks and analyze audience insights to inform strategies.
* Stay updated on trends in gaming, media, and culture for IP expansion.
* Work with legal teams to protect IP and manage licensing.
* Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture.
What You Bring:
* 5+ years in brand, IP, or franchise management, preferably in entertainment or media.
* Experience in multi-platform storytelling and brand development.
* Strong creative instincts and audience awareness.
* Proven project management skills and clear communication.
* Understanding of IP law, licensing, and brand protection.
* Data literacy and strategic insight.
* A passion for narrative and world-building.
* Bonus: experience with transmedia publishing, early-stage IP, or community brands.
