Come and be part of the energy transition - Vestas's products have until now enabled our customers to avoid 1.7 billion tons of carbon emissions. You will be part of the DevEx department within the Turbine Control Software module. The Turbine Control Software module provides all the embedded control applications that run on the turbine. The DevEx department's purpose is to let the module's developers be developers, by providing tools, applications, and CI/CD pipelines to the teams. Improving development time and developer experience.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET frameworks
* Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
* Implement and manage caching strategies to improve application performance and scalability
Qualifications
What we require:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* 2+ years as a C# .NET Developer or in a similar role
* Solid knowledge of C#, .NET and Test frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET, WPF)
* Familiarity with database technologies like SQL Server or PostgreSQL
* Understanding of software development principles and design patterns
* Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ways to standout:
* Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks
* Experience with Qt for cross-platform application development
* Familiarity with Gherkin for behavior-driven development (BDD)
* Experience with Windows Application Driver for automated UI testing
