About the Role
We're looking for a software developer to support operations automation across all our funds, working closely with the lead automation manager to implement, maintain, and improve AI-driven workflows. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, optimization, and continuous improvement.
This position is ideal for someone with a software development background, combined with an interest in AI, finance, and early-stage investments, who enjoys collaborating across technical and investment teams.
What You'll Do
Cross-fund automation & operations responsibilities
Work alongside the automation lead to implement and maintain operational automations across all funds
Support the deployment of AI tools and workflows for deal flow, analysis, reporting, and portfolio tracking
Help build and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and system integrations
Support financial data analysis, modeling, and reporting
Troubleshoot automation issues and continuously improve existing processes
Document workflows and contribute to scalable, well-structured operations
Who We're Looking For
Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
Proven experience in software development, preferably with experience with artificial intelligence
Project management skills: Defining and executing steps of a project
Knowledge of workflow automation tools like N8N or Make
Usage of AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc
API usage: Sending and receiving info from APIs
Diagramming tools like draw.Io, etc
Nice to Have
Experience working in startups, accelerators, VC, or fintech environments
Location: Portugal, remote
Type: part-time, employment contract
Compensation: 1,500€ gross/month + meal allowance
