About the Role
We're strengthening our capability in Customer Communications Management (CCM) to support an international project based in Lisbon.
This role is ideal for a developer passionate about document automation and working in a French-speaking environment. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale, omnichannel communication solutions (print and digital), ensuring performance, reliability, and quality across the platform.
You will work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders in French, playing a key role in translating requirements into scalable document workflows.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions using specialized tools;
* Design and implement document workflows, primarily using Kwsoft (Serie M) or DocBridge (Compart);
* Contribute to the development of large-scale, omnichannel document generation processes (print and digital);
* Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality, stability, and performance;
* Provide maintenance and support (L2/L3), including incident resolution and continuous improvement of existing solutions;
* Develop backend logic and scripts using Java, Python, and PowerShell;
* Manage and optimize database queries in an Oracle (SQL) environment;
* Document analysis, design, and implementation work to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability;
* Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders in French to gather requirements and define document flows;
* Contribute to effort estimation, planning, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
* 3-4 years of experience in software development;
* Strong experience in CCM / document automation (Editique);
* Hands-on experience with Kwsoft (Serie M) or DocBridge (Compart);
* Experience with similar tools such as Quadient, OpenText Exstream, or Adobe Experience Manager is also acceptable;
* Solid programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and SQL (preferably Oracle);
* Experience with Python and/or PowerShell scripting;
* Familiarity with REST APIs, XML, and Linux environments is a plus;
* Fluent French (C2/Native) - mandatory for interviews and daily communication;
* Good English level (B2 or higher);
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail;
* Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration within agile environments;
* University degree is a plus but not mandatory with relevant experience;
* Scrum or Agile certifications are a plus.
