Quality Assurance Role
Our organization is committed to delivering high-quality products and services. We are seeking a skilled Quality Auditor to join our team in Viana, Portugal.
1. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by approving first and last parts produced according to product quality specifications.
2. They will also ensure the collection of samples to be analyzed by the laboratory in accordance with the control plan, guaranteeing product quality and process stability.
3. As the first point of contact for quality issues, the Quality Auditor will evaluate and decide on doubts that arise in the production process, aligning with quality requirements.
4. They will analyze parts that do not meet quality standards on the first attempt (FTQ) and decide whether they can be reintroduced into the production line, scrapped, reworked, or analyzed in the laboratory.
5. The Quality Auditor will be responsible for opening quality alerts, ensuring containment, and leading cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.
6. They will engage supplier quality teams to conduct incoming inspections when defects are found on raw materials, following internal procedures.
7. The Quality Auditor will execute statistical processes to ensure manufacturing process stability (PQ).
8. They will block suspect parts physically and systemically to prevent them from reaching customers.
9. The Quality Auditor will collect system data and perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to ensure product and process stability.
10. They will ensure that quality documentation (control instructions, first-piece records, and actions for RAPIDS) is up-to-date.
11. The Quality Auditor will execute Reliability, Reproducibility, and Durability (R&R) duties on the production line.
12. They will control by sampling in production lines according to the control plan.
13. The Quality Auditor will ensure the production of PPAP parts and deliver them to the laboratory for testing in accordance with the control plan.
14. They will ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety at work standards, policies, and practices in accordance with their level of responsibility.
15. The Quality Auditor will comply with environmental, health, and safety, quality, and productivity standards.
16. They will comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, Practice, and Schedule.
17. The Quality Auditor will respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules.

* They will perform other duties and tasks on assigned special projects and assignments not included in the activity for which they were hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needs or conveniences of service.
Requirements & Competencies
Academic Background
* A technical degree or bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field.
Professional Experience
* 1-3 years of experience in quality auditing, preferably within the automotive industry.
Hard Skills
20. Familiarity with industry standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 9001). (Preferred)
21. Strong understanding of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP).
22. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
23. Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP,8D).
24. Experience using measurement instruments and conducting inspections.
25. Fluent in English.
