The company supports international OEMs and Tier 1 customers through integrated engineering, machining, special processes, and certified manufacturing operations.Role SummaryThe Engineering Manager – Aerospace will be responsible for industrialization, process optimization, and technical support of Build to Print machined aerospace parts.
The role focuses on engineering leadership, manufacturing processes, quality, compliance, and customer interaction, playing a key role in the success of long-term aerospace programs.Reporting line: Head of Aerospace Business DevelopmentKey ResponsibilitiesLead the industrialization and manufacturing process of new aerospace parts in close collaboration with Project Sales Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, including process mapping, tooling, special processes, and assembly in line with customer requirements.Develop and maintain a comprehensive technical library covering company materials, special processes, customer standards, industry norms, and manufacturing and assembly methods.Review design specifications, special product requirements, and customer configurations; develop technical manuals and Quality Plans aligned with aerospace standards, safety regulations, and certification requirements, internally and jointly with Customer Engineering.Drive engineering activities related to long-term contracts and qualification processes.Lead risk management and failure mode risk analysis within manufacturing processes.Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues (8D, FMEA, etc.).
Stay up to date with aerospace technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.5+ years of experience in metalworking, aerospace manufacturing, or precision components industries.Strong knowledge of aerospace materials and their mechanical properties (aluminum alloys, titanium, steel, composites).
Understanding of special processes (surface treatments, heat treatment, NDT, coatings), preferably with hands-on experience.Familiarity with aerostructure components, GD&T, and engineering drawings / 3D models.Strong background in manufacturing engineering, DFM/DFA, and process optimization.Experience with CAD/CAM software and PLM systems (CATIA, Siemens NX, Mastercam, etc.).
Ability to interpret and apply OEM / airframer specifications (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, etc.).
