Sea Logistics Sales is tasked with driving new business growth, with a strong emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers. They possess comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of specific trade lanes, including geographic scope, available service offerings (such as sailings, transit times, and reliability), country-specific documentation regulations, local standards, operational procedures, and the types of goods or commodities typically transported on those routes.
Their role is predominantly customer-facing, with a focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities. They collaborate closely with Customer Care personnel to ensure seamless service for shared accounts.
Sea Logistics Sales professionals also make pricing decisions in alignment with the Customer Care Manager, while adhering to guidance from Trade Management and Pricing teams. They act as
