Our partner is a multinational company dedicated to facilitating and streamlining high-volume administrative processes for public and private sector clients.
They are looking to strengthen their Bid department with the hiring of a Bid Manager fluent in both French and English.
This professional will be responsible for leading and governing the bidding process, from prequalification to final submission. They will strategically develop proposals by collaborating with sales, finance, and IT to align client needs with benefits and ensure competitive, accurate pricing. The role involves creating high-quality, compliant bids that secure new business.
Key Responsibilities
* Bring structure, clarity, and governance to the bid management process and activities;
* Manage the preparation of prequalification response submissions to clients to secure invitations to bid;
* Participate in Bid Kick-Off meetings, providing bid management direction and engaging with the Bid Team;
* Oversee the creation of bid deliverables, ensuring review and governance to produce high-quality proposals;
* Work effectively with the Sales Department to generate win themes that link customer needs with defined benefits;
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or Project Management certification is a plus;
* 5+ years of experience in bid management, tendering, or business development;
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French (C1 or native) and English;
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
* Analytical, detail-oriented, with strong organizational abilities;
* Proficiency in MS Office and bid management tools/software;
* Flexibility to travel as required.
