As an early-stage, fast-growing company, we value builders: people who operate with ownership, move with urgency, and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves.In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the Founders and Chief of Staff, owning the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle and helping us scale intentionally and efficiently. You'll play a key role in shaping the team behind our real-time identity and AI-powered platform.This is a unique opportunity to build foundational hiring processes from the ground up while attracting top-tier technical talent in a highly competitive market.What You'll Do:- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for engineering roles, from initial discovery through to negotiation and close - Build a robust talent pipeline by sourcing candidates through various channels - Partner closely with the founders to improve the foundations of our hiring engine, including interview rubrics and candidate experience standards - Share critical feedback to founders on role scoping, market insights, and hiring strategy to ensure we are attracting the right talent for our seed-stage needs - Source and attract specialized technical talent through creative and proactive outreach - Build and nurture a high-caliber talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs - Design and implement scalable hiring processes suited for a high-growth, early-stage environment - Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our culture and ambition - Provide data-driven insights and market feedback to inform compensation, role design, and hiring strategy - Act as an ambassador for our vision, product, and mission in every candidate interactionWhat You Bring:- Proven experience scaling early-stage startups (e.g., growing teams from ~15 to 50+ FTEs) - Strong full-cycle recruiting expertise (sourcing, screening, closing, onboarding) - Demonstrated success closing high-stakes technical and GTM talent - Deep understanding of platform and front/backend engineering and AI/ML hiring - Experience recruiting in technology and/or financial services - Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills - Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, being able to pitch complex technical products to senior stakeholders - Structured, organized, and highly execution-oriented - Comfortable operating in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments - Immediate availability for a fixed-term engagement (full-time)Preferred:- Familiarity with the Porto tech ecosystem - Experience with modern recruiting tools (e.g., Ashby)
