PHP Developer
As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web-based applications. Your role will involve coding, testing, and debugging complex software solutions using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will work closely with other team members to understand project requirements and create efficient and scalable code. This position requires a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and experience with database management systems such as MySQL. The ideal candidate should also have experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap and Vue.js.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features for existing web applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in a timely manner
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
- Optimize application performance for speed and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Vue.js is a plus
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Location: Porto (open to remote candidates)
Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Type: Full-time
