Mission of the Role: Own and maturely enhance Visteon's IT General Controls (ITGC) compliance program under Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), ensuring audit-ready, scalable, and automation-enabled controls to support reliable financial reporting and reduce compliance risk and cost
Key Objectives of this Role:
* Own and manage the ITGC SOX lifecycle: risk assessment, scoping, control design, testing, and remediation.
* Strengthen IT control frameworks aligned with COSO and SOX requirements.
* Drive cross-functional collaboration between IT, Finance, and Internal Audit.
* Promote IT control awareness through training and communication.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Execution ≥ 95% of ITGC testing completed on time with no audit-imposed extensions
* Control Quality ≥ 20% reduction in ITGC deficiencies year-over-year
* Remediation ≥ 90% of remediation actions closed within agreed timelines
* Automation % of ITGCs automated or IT-dependent (baseline → target)
Key Year One Deliverables:
* Complete end-to-end ITGC SOX cycle for SAP and legacy systems, including testing, remediation, and management sign-off, with zero audit-imposed delays. Deliver a formal IT risk assessment and SOX scoping document, approved by Internal Audit and Finance, covering 100% of in-scope systems. Increase the number of ITAC on the SAP environment in 7%, with documented reduction in manual controls.
* Implement a standard ITGC dashboard (testing status, deficiencies, remediation aging) used in quarterly governance reviews.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Manage ITGC SOX compliance program, acting as subject matter expert for IT controls over financial reporting.
* Perform and review ITGC SOX testing (including remediation testing).
* Lead IT risk assessment and scoping activities to ensure proper risk identification and control mapping.
* Conduct gap analysis and recommend improvements for ITGC design and operating effectiveness.
* Collaborate with IT and business teams to remediate deficiencies and strengthen the IT control environment.
* Support internal and external audits related to ITGC and SOX.
* Document IT processes and controls, ensuring alignment with SOX and COSO frameworks.
* Provide training and guidance on ITGC requirements across IT and Finance teams.
* Monitor emerging risks and regulatory changes impacting IT controls.
Qualification, Experience, and Skills:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
* 8+ years in IT audit, ITGC, SOX compliance roles.
* Big 4 or similar public accounting experience preferred.
* 2< Leadership experience managing ITGC or SOX programs.
* CISA, CISSP, COBIT, or similar is a plus.
* Strong understanding of SOX, COSO, and IT control frameworks.
* Experience with SAP is a plus.
* Familiarity with IT risk management and cybersecurity principles.
* Data analytics and automation skills are a plus.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to build relationships across IT and Finance functions.
