We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team.
This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and resolve production incidents efficiently.
* Coordinate changes and technical operations, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
* Participate in change management, working closely with development, sysadmin, DBA, and networking teams.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including application architecture, procedures, and supervision requirements.
* Ensure regular backup data and perform restoration tests.
* Monitor applications and infrastructure effectively, adhering to established SLAs for all business lines.
* Control load capacity for applications, ensuring optimal performance.
* Contribute to continuous automation and improvement of existing procedures.
* Collaborate with development teams to define new application architectures, aligned with infrastructure standards.
Requirements:
* Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in Linux and Windows environments.
* Good knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell).
* Experience with BMC/Control-M or other industrial schedulers.
* Familiarity with databases and concepts.
* Experience with infrastructure backups and monitoring tools.
* Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse proxy, Active Directory, and Kerberos.
* Strong networking skills.
