We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Linux professional willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid model in Lisbon.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Cloud Management:
* Architect, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud environments (OCI, Azure) with a focus on security, automation, and seamless integration.
* Administer virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, OLVM) and orchestration tools (Rancher, Kubernetes – RKE/OKE).
* Configure and optimize complex IP networks (120+ prefixes), firewalls (SonicWall), VPNs (IPSec site-to-site), ZTNA, and network segmentation.
Security & Compliance:
* Implement hardening policies for Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, Oracle Linux) and containerized environments (Docker).
* Define and enforce backup, disaster recovery (Veeam), and high-availability strategies.
* Manage IAM/PAM solutions and ensure compliance with security best practices.
Automation & DevOps Integration:
* Automate provisioning and administration using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Monitor and optimize performance with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ElasticAPM.
* Lead legacy application modernization (e.g., JBoss to containers/microservices).
Leadership & Collaboration:
* Mentor junior administrators and promote infrastructure best practices.
* Collaborate with DevOps and development teams in Agile environments.
* Document architectures, policies, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
Technical Requirements:
Mandatory Expertise:
* Cloud: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS), hybrid integration.
* Virtualization/Orchestration: VMware vSphere, Kubernetes (RKE/OKE), Rancher.
* Networking: Firewalls (SonicWall), VPNs, ZTNA, DNS, NTP, reverse proxy (nginx).
* Automation: Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines.
* Monitoring: Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack.
* Linux Administration: RHEL, Ubuntu, Oracle Linux (security, hardening, Docker).
* Databases: PostgreSQL, OracleDB, Redis, MySQL, SQL Server.
Soft Skills:
* Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
* Agile mindset with cross-functional collaboration experience.
