Job Overview
The Settlement Account Manager is a key role within our Securities Transaction Management Department.
* This position involves the processing and follow-up of main processes, including pre- and post-settlement activities, clearing, legal documentation, transactions, and event-related accounting for securities deemed in scope.
We are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills to manage client transactions by monitoring pending/failed instructions, detecting errors/discrepancies, and providing accurate information to clients via email or phone in accordance with agreements in place.
A deep knowledge of clients' specificities, market requirements, internal processes, and tools is essential for this role.
Clientspecific databases and internal procedures must be known and updated to ensure that checklist tasks are duly executed, in line with internal procedures and market rules and/or guidelines, thereby mitigating settlement costs and operational risk.
Effective communication with Clients and support on daily activities, ensuring a close follow-up on any pending investigation, is critical.
This role also contributes to the overall successful running of the Settlement Department while respecting our company's rules and guidelines in terms of Compliance, Risk, and Conduct.
Sensitive or risky situations will be reported and/or escalated to management promptly.
