Our team operates in a fast-moving environment where precision, accountability, and operational discipline are essential.About the Role We're looking for a hands-on FinOps Operations Specialist to execute and maintain daily financial operations across multiple accounts and systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring operational processes are run accurately, reconciled consistently, and documented to a high standard, while working closely with internal teams and external service providers.This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lisbon, Portugal.ResponsibilitiesOperational Execution • Execute asset transfers between designated accounts according to established protocols • Maintain comprehensive transaction records with proper documentation and verification • Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure timely completion of operational tasks • Monitor systems and dashboards to track transaction status and account activity • Process routine account movements in accordance with internal proceduresReconciliation & Reporting • Perform daily balance verification across multiple systems • Support periodic valuation processes by preparing required documentation and statements • Maintain system integrations and data feeds with external service providers • Identify and escalate discrepancies through appropriate channelsCompliance & Controls • Adhere to established account management policies and internal controls • Verify that authorization protocols are properly followed for all transactions • Support periodic verification and reporting requirements • Maintain current documentation of account structures and access rightsCoordination • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on operational matters • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational inquiries • Support audit and review processes by providing requested documentationQualifications • 2–5 years of experience in financial operations, fund administration, custody operations, or a related field • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail • Comfortable working with reconciliations, transaction records, and operational data • Clear communicator, able to coordinate across teams and time zones • Proficiency in spreadsheets and routine data checks (Python or SQL is a plus) • Experience in digital assets or financial services is a strong advantageTraits That Fit • Highly organized and process-driven • Calm under pressure and comfortable with operational responsibility • Values precision, auditability, and clean execution Able to work independently while collaborating closely with othersInterested?
