Responsibilities
TeamViewer Frontline develops industrial wearable computing-based augmented reality solutions that enable customers to optimize their business processes. Become part of an international team and support us with your ideas.
1. Design and implement scalable and robust event-driven applications using Java SpringBoot.
2. Develop high-quality code, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
3. Integrate third-party services and components into the application ecosystem.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
5. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
6. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in new and existing applications.
7. Be part of the software development lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, maintenance and support.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in event-driven architecture.
Requirements
9. A degree or education in computer science and/or comparable professional experience in the field of Backend Development
10. Experience with Java and Java frameworks like SpringBoot (at least 3 years).
11. Experience with event-driven architecture and technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS or similar)
12. Proficient in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and designing database schemas
13. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
14. Experience with RESTful API development and consumption
15. Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
16. Android development experience is a plus
17. Proven ability to understand the big picture and quickly comprehend complex relationships in dynamic organizations
18. Enthusiasm for acting as team player, especially when it comes to cross functional teams paired with passion to work independently, assuming holistic responsibility for a project when needed
19. English is no hurdle for you (at least B2-level required)
