We are more than 500 consultants with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid.DECSKILL operates in 3 main areas:DECSKILL TALENT, through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams;DECSKILL BOOST, through which we provide our client with software development models to increase capacity and optimize Time-to-Market, where we create and manage teams that deliver according to their needs, at the desired speed;DECSKILL CONNECT through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.Our practice results in the creation of value for our customers, either by delivering qualified and value-added services, or through highly qualified and motivated professionals, as well as technology solutions that allow us to operate and transform the business of our customers.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the development, deployment, configuration, review, maintenance, testing and documenting of programs in compliance with internal guidelines, specifications provided, the deadlines and different quality standardsWork with BA engineering team, back-end and front end developers to ensure seamless and performant integrationContribute to all phases of the development lifecycleTroubleshoot and debug including performance optimizationWork in an agile context in direct collaboration with many people included in the projectWorking in direct collaboration with Business, Product Owner and DevelopersParticipating in Scrum meetings and product sprintsRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend systemsKnowledge on TELCO industry BSS architectures is preferable.Java (7+ years of experience).Spring Boot (5+ years of experience)Kubernetes (2+ years of experience)Experience with Microservices architectureProficiency in building REST APIs.Ability to produce high-quality clean code.Ability to produce rich & clear technical documentation.Experience with CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with Docker.Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams, and clients.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Autonomy and ownership of projects.Passion for international projects and open to occasional travel.Willingness to mentor and guide junior team members.Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).Strong leadership skills.Availability to travel (short-term periods).If you're interested in this job, please send your CV to cesaltina.abreu@decskill.com with reference "CA/Java".Decskill is committed to equality and non-discrimination with all our talents.
