Role: BASED IN MADEIRA, PORTUGAL: Ensure quality and reliability of our finance platform through comprehensive testing. Work independently with a UK-based team, covering financial workflows, API integrations, and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Write detailed test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications Design test scenarios covering functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing Execute manual test cases systematically and document results accurately Test complex financial calculations, invoice processing workflows, and payment integrations Validate API integrations with banking systems and third-party services Log, track, and manage defects using issue tracking systems Provide clear, detailed bug reports with steps to reproduce and supporting evidence Maintain accurate testing documentation for audit and compliance purposes Requirements 1+ year of software testing experience (manual testing) Fluent in English (written and spoken communication) Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans Proven ability to identify, document, and track bugs effectively Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Basic SQL knowledge for data validation Nice to Have Experience testing financial applications or fintech platforms Familiarity with API testing concepts Knowledge of banking/payment systems and workflows Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira) Understanding of Agile/Kanban methodologies What We Offer Remote work from Madeira, Portugal Work with cutting-edge financial technology Direct impact on platform quality Professional development in fintech and QA
