Job Title: Culture & Language Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Culture and Language Specialist to join our team. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of game translations.
In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying the translation of game text, images, and user interfaces to ensure they align with the target language and cultural context. Your attention to detail and knowledge of cultural nuances will be crucial in identifying and correcting errors that might impact the player experience.
Your duties will include collaborating with global project teams, identifying and correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors, and ensuring adherence to console manufacturer guidelines. You will also be responsible for logging details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions, and maintaining consistency in terminology and imagery.
The ideal candidate will have fluency in Russian and conversational English skills, as well as strong cultural understanding of the language. Computer literacy, particularly with Excel, robust internet research skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely are also essential requirements.
