You've come to the right place, Smart.We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of applications and infrastructure across our business lines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Linux and Windows environments, experience in incident management, automation mindset, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.Main Tasks & ResponsibilitiesEfficiently manage and resolve production incidents.Coordinate and follow up on technical operations, including electrical shutdowns and server mode changes.Participate in change management processes for applications and infrastructure in collaboration with development, sysadmin, DBA, and networking teams.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on application components, architecture, and operational procedures.Manage backup processes and conduct regular restore tests to ensure data integrity.Monitor applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with established SLAs.Perform load capacity control for applications.Contribute to continuous automation and improvement of operational procedures.Collaborate with development teams to define the architecture of new applications, aligned with infrastructure standards.Main Technical RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.Experience with BMC/Control-M or other industrial schedulers.Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell).
Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, or IIS.Solid experience with databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, and/or MySQL).
Experience managing infrastructure backups.Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix or Grafana preferred).
Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse Proxy, Active Directory, and Kerberos.Good networking knowledge.Other RequirementsGood command of English (minimum B2 – mandatory).
