Administrative Assistant Job Description
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our office and supporting our event production team.
* Manage day-to-day company operations, including handling administrative tasks from various areas such as accounting, HR, logistics, etc.
* Assist with venue communication, liaising with venues to negotiate contracts, secure bookings, and coordinate event logistics.
* Collaborate with the event production team to gather venue requirements, ensuring all event needs are met and exceeding client expectations.
* Assist with office budgets and expenses, tracking expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
* Support HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.
* Maintain office systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role, preferably in the event production industry.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, venues, and vendors.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
* Experience managing budgets and expenses.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines.
* A proactive and resourceful attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
* Fluency in both written and spoken English.
