We would like to meet a Senior NodeJS Developer with Java Experience for a project based in Portugal.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js (v22+) and Express.js
* Design and implement RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration between systems
* Develop custom extensions and reports using Java (SDK 22), JavaScript, and Velocity
* Enhance system functionality and ensure integration with other platforms
* Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions
* Contribute to architectural decisions and backend best practices
* Support and guide junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical growth
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* More than 5 years of experience in backend development - Node.js (v22+) and Express.js
* Solid experience with Java (SDK 22 or similar) for application or extension development
* Strong knowledge of JavaScript for backend and scripting purposes
* Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
* Experience with CI/CD principles, GitLab CI/CD pipelines and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DocumentDB)
* Knowledge of AWS cloud platform and in OpenSearch
* Experience with Angular, Velocity and/or Polarion ALM (nice to have)
* Fluent in English (mandatory)
