Location: Paco De Arcos - Q45, PortugalFor more than 35 years,Thalesacts in Portugal for global Defence and Aerospace markets and promotes and delivers innovative solutions that enhance its customer's critical systems ́ security, on land, sea, air, space and cyberspace, through a technical team of excellence.We are currently looking for aSenior Infrastructure Engineerto join ourAirspace Mobility Solutionsteam!ResponsibilitiesIntegrate, install, configure, and validate hardware and software solutions to ensure compliance with technical and operational requirements;Support hardware integration activities for systems and sub-systems, ensuring controlled and efficient delivery;Develop and maintain design documentation, solution specifications, acceptance test procedures, and related technical documentation;Contribute to infrastructure testing, product verification phases, and customer design reviews;Develop, harden, and automate SOE deployments, including RBAC input, monitoring, and remote management configuration;Identify technical risks, troubleshoot issues, and support integration and test teams during execution phases;Support project delivery activities including material lists (LOS), cost and labour estimation, bid support, and stakeholder coordination.RequirementsDegree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related fields;Availability for business travelling around the world;Solid experience with Red Hat Linux systems, including configuration, performance tuning, hardening and automation;Strong skills in automation with Ansible and experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Octopus, Travis);Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl, YAML) for automation and integration;Knowledge of hardware and networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Cisco/HP/Lenovo) and hardware validation processes.The Group invests more than €4 billion per year in Research & Development in key areas, particularly for critical environments, such as Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum and cloud technologies.In 2024, the Group generatedsales of €20.6 billion.For our more than83,000 employeesin 68 countries we open up visionary perspectives, realise individual career paths and enable creative freedom.
