What will be your mission?
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel, for all legal inspections and administrative /management tasks related to installations.
You will also manage the external maintenance companies and the maintenance department of the hotel.
What will you do?
* Coordinate and supervise the preventive maintenance equipment and hotels facilities, according to company responsibilities.
* Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities, ensuring safety management is appropriately instituted to reduce the risk of accident or incident.
* Frequently organize hotel inspections to ensure infrastructure and grounds reach expected conditions.
* Manage contracts with maintenance external providers, and supervise the quality of the service provided.
* Build and maintain positive relations with external stakeholders such as, fire prevention bureau and vendors.
* Elaborate project plans and proposals, evaluating budget, timing, team, information and standards.
* Control and follow up of energy consumptions and maintenance costs e.g. water and electricity.
* Study and implement ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy.
* Ensure that guest incidents and issues are attended in a timely and appropriate manner.
* Coordinate department objectives and activities with the rest of head of departments, exchanging knowledge and information about each area.
* Responsible of managing and coordinating the maintenance team, ensuring correct and collaborative teamwork.
What are we looking for?
* At least 3-4 years' maintenance experience preferably in a hotel/service industry of similar size and complexity.
* Vocational Training (electrical and electronics, HVAC, industrial maintenance and related fields).
* Fluency in local language is mandatory and knowledge of English is highly valuable.
* Knowledge in HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electric and electronic systems.
* Working knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office). SAP, GMAO/CMMS (computerized maintenance management software), BMS (Building management system), etc.
* Results driven and focus on detail.
* Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
* Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
