Job Overview
* Define and execute the Supplier Integration Program at selected suppliers.
* Perform Potential Analysis at new suppliers (VDA6.3 Potential Analysis).
* Perform Supplier Integration Assessments for selected suppliers.
* Conduct regular visits to Suppliers under the Integration Program until QCDTS targets are achieved.
* Verify CQI certifications and perform CQI audits when applicable.
* Support suppliers in System Development according to IATF standards (e.g., ISO 9000 to IATF).
* Monitor supplier performance during the Supplier Development (Integration) Program and escalate to Procurement if necessary.
* Train experts within the SQ Function on IATF, Core Tools, 5S, Poka-Yoke, Problem-Solving & PDCA, QRM, and Lean Tools.
* Manage the Supplier Academy and Onboarding Process for Quality.
* Assess tooling and technical skill capabilities according to the required commodity or manufacturing process.
* Lead Value Stream Mapping workshops at suppliers to identify potential cost improvements.
* Lead Supplier Improvement Workshops focused on reducing CoPQ, Scrap, and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles in collaboration with Procurement SDE / CoE.
Candidate Profile
* At least 5 years of experience in Automotive Quality Management, with procurement experience as a plus.
* Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing.
* Expertise in VDA 6.3, IATF16949, ISO 14000, ISO 9001, Automotive Core Tools, Poka-Yoke, and other automotive standards.
* Certified VDA 6.3 (2023) and IATF 16949 2nd party auditor.
* Proficient in Problem Solving Tools (8D, PDCA, A3, DMAIC, SPS, etc.).
* Experience with tooling and technical skills relevant to specific products and processes.
* Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
* Knowledge of specific products and processes such as molding, stamping, plating, die casting, mechanical assembly, PAB/PCBA.
* Proficiency in supplier APQP tools including PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, R@R, Poka-Yoke, 5S, and 8D methodology.
* Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.
* Strong knowledge of problem-solving tools and auditing standards.
* Basic SAP knowledge, especially in the Quality Module.
* Understanding of GD&T principles.
* Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Strong coaching and training abilities.
* Business acumen regarding part cost structures.
* Willingness to travel regularly, including abroad.
* Independent, collaborative, and continuous improvement mindset.
