ABOUT US:
TUMO is a creative technologies center founded in Armenia, now present in over 10 countries. Aimed at young people aged 12 to 18, TUMO complements formal education by offering opportunities to develop skills in areas such as Music, Robotics, Animation, Game Development, Programming, Photography, Cinema, and Graphic Design. Each student follows a personalized learning path based on their progress and interests, guided by learning coaches and experts.
TUMO is completely free of charge for its students, made possible by our generous donors and partners. Our mission is to promote upward social mobility and accelerate social growth in Portugal.
The first TUMO center in Portugal opened in Coimbra in September 2023, and a second opened in Lisbon in September 2024, each serving 1,500 students. We are now currently expanding our new TUMO center to Porto district.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Head of Educational Content Delivery is responsible for managing the Workshop Leaders and ensuring the successful execution of educational activities, including Workshops, Learning Labs, and Learning Hub activities. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the quality and effectiveness of the overall TUMO offer by overseeing the delivery of structured learning content and engaging activities, as well as ensuring the successful execution of educational activities. We are looking for someone passionate about education, innovation, and making a positive impact on students’ learning journeys!
The main responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring content quality by leading, mentoring and evaluating the team of Workshop Leaders, ensuring effective communication, workflow management, and professional development;
2. Ensure the seamless functionality and quality of Self-Learning activities, responding to requests for support from the team regarding the content or platforms used, and supervising evaluations and feedback on activities, workshops and other activities;
3. Keeping the calendar of workshops and activities as planned on all internal platforms, ensuring that it is clear to staff and students;
4. Plan and execute Learning Hub activities and Learning Labs, ensuring alignment with TUMO’s educational framework while tailoring them to the local context;
5. Guarantee high-quality and diverse offerings following TUMO methodologies, ensuring close communication with the Head of Student Experience to meet the needs of students in each cycle;
6. Supporting the start of the center's school year, defining/revising processes, calendar, educational plan, educational resources, and recruiting the necessary staff;
7. Contribute to the definition and implementation of the yearly educational roadmap, aligning it with annual TUMO Portugal priorities, local objectives, and TUMO methodologies;
8. Collaborate with local and international experts to introduce new and innovative learning experiences for students;
9. Contribute to the development of partnerships with the community in order to create opportunities for students to activate creativity, knowledge, and their potential as citizens.

1. Educational Activity Planning: Expertise in creating and executing activities and reviewing content, fostering engagement and alignment with educational center’s objectives, ensuring high standards of quality and precision;
2. Student Engagement: Ability to connect with students with empathy, in order to create attractive activities plan and a vibrant learning environment;
3. Innovative Learning: Knowledge and continuous curiosity about innovative learning, education methodologies, and classroom techniques, in order to inspire and implement as needed;
4. Team leadership: Proven leadership and mentoring competencies, with the ability to inspire and engage across diverse profiles;
5. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills, with a strong ability to collaborate and work effectively within teams;
6. Program Development: Ability to design and implement structured programs and activities, with intentionality, strategy and passion;
7. Operational Management: Aptitude to manage daily operations and organizational workflows, such as team shifts or evaluation processes, having an analytical and continuous improvement mindset, adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments;
8. Data analysis and Reporting: Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data interpretation reporting and comfortable using Excel or other similar tools for performance tracking. Comfortable with technological tools, processes and resources;
9. External Collaboration: Ability to build and maintain partnerships with external experts and organizations;
10. Language: Proficiency in communicating in Portuguese and English.
