Unlimited.** At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.We are currently searching for a **R&D Engineer - Data Science** with background in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science., who will be able to train deep learning models for 3D Vision.* (60%) Contribute to the research and development of novel computer vision, medical imaging and AI algorithms with the potential for integration into computer-assisted surgical applications* (25%) Train and evaluate deep learning models for 3D vision applications* (15%) Assist in the maintenance, organization, and continuous improvement of internal datasets and databases.* Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics Engineering or Computer Science* Expertise in geometric computer vision and/or AI* Expertise in deep learning for 3D Vision is a plus* Software development in Python and/or Matlab* Software development in C++ is a plus* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills* Attention to detail, self-motivated and collaborative* Passion for creating new, innovative, and ground-breaking solutions* Excellent organizational, documentation and written/verbal communication skills* Proven ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.**You.
