Job Purpose
The Market Intelligence Associate, within the Corporate Insight Department under the Marketing Strategy Division, is responsible for data gathering, research, and analysis related to the industry and markets where Fujitsu operates.
This role typically involves researching market trends and the competitive landscape to inform Fujitsu's business positioning and strategy. The role also supports Business Units and Regional strategies as needed.
The ideal candidate is proactive, with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights. The Associate reports to the Market Intelligence Team Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to inquiries by conducting research and preparing insightful reports for internal stakeholders.
* Support decision-making by working with business managers across headquarters, business groups, units, and regions, providing strategic, timely market insights.
* Manage research projects from scope to delivery, working independently with minimal supervision.
* Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments by monitoring news sources, analyst reports, and thought leadership, bringing a strong understanding of business and IT landscapes to inform strategic insights.

* Timeliness of inquiry responses
Required Skills and Experience
Mandatory
* At least 12 months of experience in a professional Market Intelligence organization;
experience in theIT market is a plus.
* Experience working with analyst firms or external research providers.
* Cross-cultural and international experience.
* Ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders and internal teams.
* Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research techniques, deriving meaningful insights and translating them into actionable recommendations.
* Critical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess situations, draw conclusions, and propose innovative solutions.
* Fluent English (business level).
