A multinational organization with a strong global presence is looking to reinforce its operations in Lisbon by recruiting aPayroll Specialist (m/f/d)to join its shared services structure.

Your new role
You will join a global payroll team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery for one of the organization's key European regions.
Working closely with local payroll teams and external providers, your main responsibilities will include:
Executing monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
Managing monthly payroll closing activities in line with established workflows and internal controls.
Monitoring data quality across HR, Time and Payroll systems through validation routines and audit checks.
Analyzing new legislation and internal HR rules to evaluate their impact on payroll processes and tools.
Supporting internal stakeholders with payroll and time-related queries through the appropriate communication channels.
Ensuring compliance with reporting obligations to external authorities, including monthly and yearly submissions and payments.
Contributing to the design, optimization and continuous improvement of payroll processes.
What you'll need to succeed
Education in Human Resources, Psychology, Economics, Finance or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in HR/Payroll operations, preferably supporting France or other European markets.
Fluency in French and advanced English.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Continuous-improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.
