We are looking for a C++ Developer to join us in Porto (3 times a week in the office) .
Responsibilities:
* The role involves developing, maintaining, and improving core application components, primarily in C++.
* The developer will work independently, organise work using JIRA, manage source control, and ensure high-quality, well-tested code.
* Close collaboration with stakeholders is required to understand business needs and translate them into clear technical tasks and release plans.
* Strong communication skills and disciplined development practices are essential.
Requirements:
* Several years of experience with C++;
* Strong experience in scripting in Python and Shell
* Proficient with source control tools such as Git
* Experience with JIRA and task management
* Ability to translate business needs into technical tasks
* Solid application management and workflow ownership
* Commitment to clean code, testing, and stable releases
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* - Familiarity with financial or high-reliability systems (plus)
