About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager (M/F) to reinforce our team and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy Execution:
* Contribute to the implementation of the In-licensing portfolio strategy in collaboration with the In-licensing team.
New Business Opportunities:
* Identify and assess new business opportunities and partnerships.
Business Case Preparation:
* Develop comprehensive business cases.
Negotiation and Collaboration:
* Negotiate long-term collaborations, including commercial and financial terms.
* Review and negotiate licensing and supply agreements in collaboration with the legal team.
Life-Cycle Management:
* Participate in defining and implementing a life-cycle management strategy for products within Tecnimede Group's portfolio.
Supplier Qualification:
* Qualify and rationalize partners, defining preferential suppliers based on criteria such as quality, delivery, cost, service, etc.
Project Coordination:
* Coordinate multidisciplinary projects involving business development, technical, marketing, logistics, and finance teams.
Industry Expertise:
* Maintain a specialized level of knowledge on industry trends, market dynamics, competitive landscape, existing and emerging technologies.
About You
Ideal candidate requirements include:
* Minimum 4 years of experience in business development (in-licensing or out-licensing), B2B key account management, or similar areas in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Degree in pharmaceutical sciences, management, or similar fields.
* Mandatory: Fluent in English and either Portuguese or Spanish. Other languages will be valued.
* Good understanding of the licensing environment and processes within pharma.
* Overall understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain.
* Experience with investment valuation, market analysis, and forecasting.
* Familiarity with negotiation of contractual terms.
* Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Goal-oriented.
* Demonstrated strong negotiation skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Flexibility to travel up to 10%.
