Description:
This pivotal role seeks a visionary leader to spearhead research and innovation excellence across the organization's Research and Innovation ecosystem. The successful candidate will oversee strategic initiatives spanning three grand thematic areas of research, including project management support for core facilities and industrial contracts.
The Ripple Effect Catalyst will lead a large team of project managers, providing strategic guidance to Researchers and Engineers in identifying, developing, and pursuing high-quality research and innovation projects aligned with the organization's objectives.
This position is deeply embedded in the Research and Innovation ecosystems, fostering close collaboration with Research and Engineering Group Leaders, Core Facility Heads, and the Head of Technology.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the intersection between research and innovation, with expertise in securing competitive funding, fostering partnerships, and promoting scientific excellence.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within a research-intensive organization, is required. A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field is essential, accompanied by a proven track record of achieving outstanding results through innovative strategies and effective team management.
