As a Hardware Engineer - Marine, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and optimizing electrical installations on board high-end maritime projects. You will work on systems related to power distribution, navigation, communication and safety, ensuring everything functions flawlessly both during installation and at sea.
You will be involved throughout the full engineering process, from design and commissioning to testing and optimization.
Your Responsibilities
* Designing electrical and mechanical systems for maritime projects
* Supervising and coordinating onboard installation activities
* Testing, commissioning and optimizing systems together with the project team
* Ensuring all systems operate according to the highest quality standards
* Collaborating closely with engineers, technicians and project teams
* Contributing with technical improvements and smart engineering solutions
What We Are Looking For
* HBO level education or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
* Several years of experience with electrical systems in the maritime industry
* Experience within shipbuilding, yachts or naval projects is mandatory
* Knowledge of EPLAN P8 and/or AutoCAD is considered a strong advantage
* Strong communication skills and hands-on mentality
* Good command of English
* Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands
