Business Analyst
We are recruiting a Business Analyst to join an international team working on a digital platform in the investment space, focused on delivering and managing financial data for global clients.
This role combines functional analysis, close interaction with tech teams, and direct involvement in product delivery.
Lisbon (hybrid model: 2–3 days/week onsite)

Responsibilities
Gather and translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Work closely with Product Owner, architects, and stakeholders on backlog definition and prioritization
Break down high-level requirements into structured deliverables for development
Collaborate with development, QA, and UX teams to ensure alignment
Support task preparation and ensure clarity for estimations
Contribute to test cases and test data definition with QA
Participate in UAT and validate deliverables
Identify gaps and inconsistencies through data analysis (e.G., SQL, APIs/Postman)
Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, facilitating when needed
Maintain functional and release documentation
Profile
Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL;
scripting or development experience is a plus
Advanced/Fluent level of English – mandatory
Nice to have
Experience in the financial sector
Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA or similar)
