Your role will be crucial in enabling data-driven decision-making and optimizing data workflows within HAVI.As a Data Engineer, Azure you will be responsible for:Data Pipeline and Architecture Development:Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks and other Azure services;Develop and optimize data architectures to support data processing and storage needs.Data Integration and Management:Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency;Manage and monitor data workflows, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.Testing and Documentation:Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution;Create detailed technical documentation, including data architecture, requirements specifications, user guides, and training materials.Project Management:Participate in project planning and execution, including task estimation, resource allocation, progress tracking, and risk management;Inform the requestor of the cost and time estimate.Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements into functional and technical specifications;Engage with business users, IT teams and external stakeholders to address concerns, and ensure successful implementation of data solutions.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and Azure services;Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data systems, streamline processes, and optimize business outcomes.What you will need to be succeedBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Science and Technology;+5 years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including architecture and application design/development;Strong knowledge of Data engineering concepts including Data Integration, Data Architecture, Data modelling;Experience with designing/building solutions with Cloud/On-Prem Technologies and DevOps toolchain implementation;Knowledge in Azure technologies (Data Factory, Databricks etc.
);Knowledge on Azure functions (Batch, Active Directory, Key Vault etc.
);Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps services – preferred, JIRA, CI/CD etc.
);Basic Oracle database and PL/SQL skills (being able to read PL/SQL source code);Knowledge on version control tools (Git/Gitlab/Bitbucket/GitHub);Proven knowledge and practical experience of agile methods and processes;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and to propose innovative solutions;Ability to work independently and deliver multiple projects and support activities with minimal supervision;Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.What the Company can offer youHave the opportunity to join a cross-functional team in an international company with a multicultural working environment!
