Committed to sustainability (Ecovadis Silver), diversity (gender index: 94), security (ISO27001) and quality of work life, Quanteam is a forward-thinking enterprise.Our ExpertiseWith a dual expertise in both business and IT, Quanteam supports its corporate clients (investment banks, asset management companies, private and retail banks, custodians, etc.) across the entire Front-to-Back spectrum in evolving their business activities and transformation projects.Our teams are organized into 5 expertise areas: Quantitative Finance Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory Operations and Finance Transformation and Organization Information SystemsIn 2025, Quanteam generated a revenue of €120 million.We are looking for a Junior Accounting Control Automation AnalystContext:The main purpose of this role is not to perform accounting activities, but to observe, understand, challenge and help automate existing accounting control processes, acting as a bridge between Finance and IT.This is a junior role, suitable for profiles with around 1 year of experience or high learning potential, with strong interest in technology, automation and AI applied to Finance.Main Mission:To support Accounting Control teams by analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, questioning the status quo, and proposing automation and data-driven improvements, leveraging tools such as Power BI, Python and Power Query.Main Responsibilities:- Observe and understand existing accounting control and finance processes - Analyze how current tasks are performed and question why processes are done that way - Identify opportunities for automation, simplification and process optimization - Support the development of automation solutions using: - Power BI - Power Query - Excel macros - Python (basic to intermediate level) - Create dashboards, reports and analytical views to support accounting control activities - Act as a junior Business Analyst–like profile, translating business needs into data and automation ideasYour Profile and Skills:- Junior profile or recent graduate with strong potential - Strong curiosity and interest in technology and automation - Comfortable challenging processes and asking "why" - Analytical mindset and willingness to learn from observation - Fluent in EnglishTechnical Skills:- Power BI (dashboarding, data modeling) - Power Query - Excel (advanced formulas, macros) - Basic to intermediate Python - Interest in APIs and system integration (hands-on experience is a plus, not mandatory) - Affinity with AI, automation and data-driven solutionsHybrid work model, with presence required in Lisbon office.If you feel this opportunity is for you, send your CV and join our team!
