M/FHead Of Expansion – MIDDLE EASTCHALLENGEThe Company, a leading retailer specializing in Accessories and fashion, has developed a successful business model with solid operations across 4 continents and 72 markets.We are executing an ambitious global expansion plan to further develop the brand in every region.Your role will be to support the Global Expansion Team in defining and implementing strategies related to the business plan, as well as promoting the company's profitability and growth in the region.RESPONSIBILITIESDefine, develop, and execute the necessary store expansion plans, in line with business priorities, reporting directly to the Expansion Director.Identify and explore new potential business opportunities through partners or direct operations: new markets and new partners via stores, online, and travel retail channels.Explore and secure optimal locations for store openings, including market analysis, feasibility studies, site visits, and presentations.Negotiate key terms and conditions.Develop a deep understanding of each market, customer profile, channel trends, operational issues/opportunities, and competitor activity.Manage a portfolio of established and future markets, monitor performance, and mediate between HQ and business partners.Build and defend solid business cases, budgets, P&L statements, sales forecasts, and manage a financially and commercially healthy portfolio within your markets.Serve as the main point of contact for leasing/tenancy negotiations and discussions with relevant internal and external stakeholders.PROFILEA degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering.Minimum of five years of experience in expansion/real estate, preferably with insight into fashion retail.In-depth knowledge and contacts within the real estate landscape of the main GCC/MENA and Turkey markets.Additional knowledge of other regions is valuable.Experience with franchised business models is a plus.Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).International profile.Strong social skills and effective communication abilities for a multinational collaborative environment.Leasing skills and good understanding of lease contracts and legal requirements.Based in Oporto or regionally in the Middle East.Full flexibility for frequent travel.
