What you will be doing:
- Lead backend development efforts for a cloud-native 3D collaboration platform used in industries like energy, automotive, and medical devices.
- Collaborate with up to 10 Java developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and architectural input.
- Contribute to designing scalable microservices and integrating with Kafka-based messaging systems.
- Work within a cross-functional Agile team to implement new functionalities in biweekly sprints.
What we are looking for:
- Several years of professional experience in Java (version 11+).
- Solid expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data migration tools (e.g., Liquibase).
- Previous experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Solid knowledge of Linux and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience participating in system architecture discussions.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
What will be a plus:
- Experience with Java 17 or migrating systems from Java 11 to 17.
- Knowledge of Spring Cloud, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Performance tuning and debugging (memory dumps, GC optimization).
