Role Overview:
We are looking for a Scala Developer to integrate one of our Nearshore Teams working fully remote for one of our clients, a multinational company from the Logistics & Supply Chain sector.
What you will do:
* Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Scala & Java as the main technologies;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance systems;
* Contribute to architecture and design discussions with a focus on functional programming principles;
* Write clean, testable, and efficient code;
* Integrate and support RESTful APIs and microservices;
* Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups;
* Help implement and improve CI/CD pipelines;
* Ensure high quality through unit and integration testing.
What you are like:
* Have at least 3 years of experience developing with Scala and a minimum of 1 year experience with Java development;
* Familiar with tools like Git, JIRA, and CI/CD systems;
* Have experience building and consuming REST APIs;
* Comfortable working in a remote/distributed team;
* Proficient in English (as you will maintain daily contact with international teams).
