ABOUT THE ROLE

Blocks is a fast-growing company focused on the development of industrial 3D printing solutions for sectors such as aerospace, mold-making, mechanical engineering, and product development. We deliver high-performance, reliable, and scalable additive manufacturing technologies tailored to industrial production needs.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AT BLOCKS

We are looking for a Business Development Professional to join our team and help scale our presence across Europe. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building lasting relationships with partners and clients, and expanding our B2B network in the industrial machinery market.

LOCATION

Our headquarters are located in Alfragide, Lisbon metro area, with excellent road access and on-site parking. The role may require regular travel across Europe, depending on commercial priorities.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Growth, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships, identifying strategic partners and distributors, and increasing Blocks' visibility and market share in European industrial segments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO


• Identify and qualify new leads across European markets, with a focus on industrial machinery and manufacturing sectors;


• Develop and nurture a growing B2B network of partners, distributors, integrators, and end customers;


• Represent Blocks in meetings, trade shows, and industry events across Europe;


• Lead negotiation processes and contribute to the definition of pricing, go-to-market and channel strategies;


• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain a high level of market intelligence;


• Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align communication and commercial strategies;


• Prepare commercial proposals and provide input into revenue forecasts and strategic planning.

WHO YOU ARE


• Degree in Business, Engineering, Management, International Relations or similar;


• Professional experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the industrial machinery, automation, or manufacturing technology sector;


• Strong understanding of the European industrial landscape and proven ability to build or manage international commercial networks;


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;


• Proactive, strategic mindset, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills;


• Fluency in English is required (written and spoken); other European languages are a plus;


• Willingness to travel regularly in Europe.
