The Cloud Engineering Manager should be the face of the technical team towards our customers and the key actor in gathering requirements and iterate on delivery to make a profound and long-lasting IT impact through Cloud-driven transformation. Our Cloud Adoption work involves a complex delivery of different disciplines that comes together seamlessly, and this position is the architect behind this delivery.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team.
* Coordinate tasks, distribute work efficiently, and foster a productive team environment.
* Consult our customers in all aspects of enterprise Azure usage.
* Ensure that critical technical decisions are taken in a timely manner throughout the delivery process.
* Communicate with each stakeholder (customer team and internal team) and gather all the relevant requirements for an A-grade delivery.
* Be the face of the Cloud Adoption technical team towards the customer and deliver on the expectations.
* Advocate for quality standards and best practices to improve the delivery quality.
* Provide insights into the feasibility and complexity of various technical tasks and contribute to more accurate planning.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation within the technical team.
Requirements
* Proven experience in leading and managing multi-functional teams of engineers.
* Strong technical background in one of the many facets of Azure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to summarize complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Great attention to detail, nothing goes by you.
* Passionate about delivering high-quality and very detailed work.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and summarize project progress.
* Comfortable with taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.
* Humble and willing to learn from others in a collaborative team environment.
