Role Overview:
We are looking for aFinancial Controller – IFRS & International Reportingto join one of our biggest clients, a global insurance group with a strong international footprint and a dynamic, multicultural environment.

What you will do:
Ensure timely delivery and validation of IFRS consolidation packages from international entities.
Perform consistency checks, harmonization restatements, and contribute to the proper accounting presentation of insurance operations.
Conduct analysis reviews and document restructuring operations when needed.
Lead quality controls for IFRS Gap and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
Propose and document guidelines and procedures to improve reporting reliability and efficiency.
Organize and coordinate financial processes including Closing, Budget, Forecasts, and Medium-Term Planning.
Manage and coach a team, ensuring performance, motivation, and adherence to company policies.
Contribute to solving complex reporting issues such as mergers, acquisitions, and entity onboarding.
What you are like:
Degree in Finance, Management Control, or related field.
8 to 15 years of experience in financial or management reporting in a multi-entity environment.
Strong background in IFRS and storytelling reporting across financial cycles (Budgets, Forecasts, Actuals).
Fluency in English (oral and written); Portuguese appreciated, French is a plus.
Solid organizational and planning skills with a process-driven mindset.
Experience in people management, coaching, and delegation.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of insurance industry and financial control tools is a plus.
