What you will be doing
1. Contribution to Test Plans:
2. Implement tests from design stage to the execution (eg: Functional, Performance, Load and Stress) and evaluate the results and document the deviations from expected results
3. Analyze, review and assess user requirements, specifications and testability models
4. Create Test Case specifications (enrich test cases provided) based on ticket descriptions, acceptance criteria and business/tech KPIs
5. Prepare and acquire test data
6. Prepare test environments (at application/data level), configure and execute test tool and Continuous Integration tools (ex: Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter, Jenkins, Hiptest) troubleshooting issues detected through automation and manual testing while evaluating the results and document the deviations from expected results
7. Use test frameworks (for Mobile apps, Mobile theme and Desktop)
8. Automate tools and procedures (for QA layers) such Static and Dynamic Analysis
9. Organize responsibilities and tasks to ensure the successful completion of work or projects, identifying potential obstacles and finding ways to address them sharing actively experience, knowledge and solutions with team
10. Demonstrate commitment to equality and diversity having due regard to equality issues in all decision-making
11. Working with product owners, developers and team leader to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan test coverage for upcoming features
What we are looking for
12. +5 years of experience (is a plus)
13. Academic background in IT or equivalent (is a plus)
14. ISTQB Foundation (strongly preferred)
15. Knowledge of Gherkin syntax
16. Familiar with Quality Processes and Agile Methodologies using industry standards of software QA tools, such as HipTest
17. Experience in Web Software and Mobile Applications (native) on product assurance tasks/processes
18. Knowledge about Software development life-cycle and test processes/flows
19. Experienced with testing tools such as Cucumber; Static/Dynamic Analysis tools and JMeter
20. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and source control systems (GIT)
21. Familiar with technologies such as Java, Ruby and JavaScript
22. Solution-oriented and proactive attitude with a constant sense of organization and attention to detail
23. Proficiency in English
