We are looking for an Tech Lead (PHP) to join our company in one of our projects, in Lisbon.
Tasks:
1. Act as Tech Lead for a PHP Backend Development Team on Product Development and Maintenance activities;
2. Design, develop, and maintain backend services and web applications using PHP, Laravel, Eloquent, GraphQL and MSSQL DB Design and Model;
3. Implement GraphQL for efficient data querying and manipulation;
4. Create well-structured, testable, and efficient code;
5. Create high-quality, maintainable code with good Automated Code Coverage using PHPUnit;
6. Work closely with Product Owners, QA, SME and other Developers;
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed DevOps practices in the Development lifecycle;
8. Utilize Jira and GitLab for streamlined Project tracking, version control, and collaboration;
9. Apply Agile Development Methodology to deliver iterative, high-quality software solutions.
Requirements:
10. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field;
11. 7+ years of hands-on experience with PHP, Laravel, Eloquent, GraphQL, and SQL;
12. Proficient in Database Modeling and Design (Microsoft SQL Server);
13. Experience with Automated Unit Testing using PHPUnit;
14. Familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
15. Skilled in Jira, GitLab; familiarity with SonarQube is a plus;
16. Proficient in Agile environments with a collaborative mindset;
17. Passionate about optimizing development workflows with the latest AI technologies;
18. Strong problem-solving skills and clear, fluent communication in English (spoken and written).
