Strong Computer Science fundamentals in system design, data structures, and algorithms. Ability to own loosely defined features from technical design through completion, and deliver on commitments. Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer building and maintaining a SaaS application. Experience with Python. Experience maintaining, building, and optimizing REST APIs. Solid understanding of modern Javascript (ES6+) and experience with at least one modern web framework (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.). Experience with CI/CD (e.g. Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes). Experience working with a team of engineers, and product owners in delivering a product to end-users. Results driven. You don't want to just write code, you want to ship code that is loved by customers. Excellent communication skills in English - both written and spoken.Preferred: Experience with modern Python frameworks and technologies, such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, SQLAlchemy. Experience with cloud computing environments (E.g., AWS) Hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools in daily workflows, including but not limited to Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
