The role provides a complete and seamless set of network and security services.ResponsibilitiesImplementing and maintaining security tools and technologies, including firewalls, SASE, remote access solutions, authentication/authorization systems and access controls.Identifying, designing and executing security projects to improve security and detection.Collaborating with security architects to design and implement enhanced security technologies and with all stakeholders involved in the various projects.Defining technical design for security and network based on Solvay's standards.Following up on cyber risk resolution for the Secured Network scope.Supporting incident response efforts with the NOC and SOC by providing expertise on network security breaches.QualificationsRelevant education degree or equivalent in network engineering, cybersecurity, or a comparable field.Certifications in Palo Alto Network technology (On‐prem FW, Prisma, SDWAN, Panorama, Strata).Expert in designing and configuring advanced network security solutions to protect global IT infrastructures against cyber threats.Deep knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls to guide network security practices, as well as generic ITIL processes.Proactive in identifying and mitigating network security risks.Adaptable to dynamic global environments and emerging cyber threats.Collaborative mindset to work effectively with IT, security and business teams.Pay Base pay expected for this role is 36 800–49 300 per year in Portugal.
