Job Description:
As our Cook, you'll be the heart of the kitchen – prepping, cooking, and plating dishes that keep our customers coming back. You'll work closely with the café team to ensure each order is made to perfection and that the kitchen runs smoothly throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
* Monitor food stock and notify management when supplies are low
* Assist with menu development and daily specials
* Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
* Work collaboratively with front-of-house and other kitchen staff
* Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders efficiently
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or similar kitchen environment preferred
* Passion for food and cooking
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Food safety certification is a plus
