Steam Guide – ATMOS by DOMA ATMOS by DOMA is looking for a passionate and highly attentive Steam Guide to lead immersive steam and sauna rituals within our wellness sanctuary in Mafra, Portugal.ATMOS is an international wellness concept rooted in guided steam rituals, contrast therapy, sensory immersion, and nervous system restoration. Set within the pine forests of DOMA Portugal, the experience combines ancient steam traditions with modern recovery practices in a handcrafted clay steam dome designed for deep relaxation, reconnection, and embodied wellbeing.We are seeking a calm, grounded, and hospitality-driven professional capable of conducting professional sauna and steam rituals while delivering exceptional guest care and maintaining the highest operational and wellness standards.This role is ideal for someone passionate about wellness, sensory experiences, mindfulness, and creating meaningful human connection through ritual and hospitality.Key Responsibilities Steam Ritual FacilitationConduct guided steam and sauna rituals following ATMOS methodologies and wellness standards;Use aromatherapy, heat management techniques, sound, rhythm, and sensory elements to create immersive experiences;Guide guests safely through heat and cold immersion cycles;Adapt rituals according to group dynamics, energy, and guest wellbeing;Maintain a calm, grounded, and professional presence throughout all sessions.Guest Experience & HospitalityWelcome and guide guests before, during, and after steam sessions;Ensure guests feel safe, comfortable, informed, and supported throughout the experience;Deliver attentive and personalized hospitality aligned with ATMOS values;Handle guest questions and special requests with professionalism and empathy;Contribute to a warm and restorative atmosphere within the Steam Dome and lounge areas.Wellness OperationsPrepare steam spaces, aromatherapy materials, towels, herbs, oils, and ritual elements before each session;Monitor sauna temperatures, steam quality, hygiene, and operational safety standards;Ensure all wellness spaces remain clean, organized, and operationally ready;Support the setup and reset of wellness sessions and special events when required;Collaborate closely with Guest Experience, Operations, and Wellness teams.Safety & StandardsEnsure all wellness and safety procedures are consistently followed;Monitor guest wellbeing during sessions and respond appropriately when necessary;Maintain professional standards, discretion, and confidentiality;Promote responsible wellness practices and a respectful communal environment.RequirementsPrevious experience in wellness, hospitality, sauna rituals, yoga, breathwork, spa operations, retreats, or similar environments is highly valued;Genuine passion for wellness, mindfulness, sensory experiences, and human connection;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (Portuguese is a plus);Strong presence, emotional intelligence, and attentiveness to guest needs;Ability to lead groups calmly and confidently in immersive environments;Physically comfortable working in heated environments and wellness operations;Strong sense of responsibility, organization, and professionalism;Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Location Mafra – Gradil, PortugalWhat We OfferIntegration into an innovative and internationally inspired wellness concept;Opportunity to work in a unique forest wellness sanctuary near Lisbon;Initial and ongoing training in ATMOS steam rituals and guest experience standards;Dynamic, positive, and purpose-driven team environment;Competitive compensation according to experience;Meals provided on site;Internet access;Free parking.#J-18808-Ljbffr
